Ranbir Kapoor Gets Candid In His Interview With Vogue

Ranbir Kapoor, in his recent interview with Vogue, got candid and spilled beans on a number of issues.

Being his absolute unguarded self, Ranbir revealed, “I think I could have an alcohol problem.” He further explains, “I have seen it in my family. I have seen it go the wrong way, so I’m aware I have a drinking problem. When I shoot, when I work, I don’t drink. But when I’m not shooting…”

He also talks about his Jagga Jasoos co-star and ex-girlfriend, Katrina Kaif, and confessed that – “After my parents, Katrina, has been the most inspiring and motivating factor in my life. Period.” Walking down the memory lane, he further recalled his “Azab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” days, and divulged, “It had simple storytelling, it had heart, and I also fell in love during that film with Katrina.”

The “Rockstar”, besides these emotional confessions, revealed of being a “Sneaker Freaker” and admitted to always buying two pairs of them “one to rock and one to stock”. Commenting on his dressing style, which he defines as lazy. Going ahead, he further commented on his food habits too, and adjudged Crocodile meat as very squishy and nicest meat of them all, describing it as an interesting mix of fish and chicken.

However, coming to his professional life, he honestly revealed that though earlier he “must have turned it down” but now he is okay with portraying homosexual roles. He, nevertheless, gave all credit to his “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” co-star, Fawad Khan, for having “opened the door” and making it easy for others to walk through.

When, further, asked if his fans could see him making his directorial debut anytime soon, he replied by saying, “Look, I know how a film is made, but a director has to find the method to tell the story he has to tell. I’m not, because of a) I’m lazy and b) acting is taking up my time and I don’t have a story, I can’t write.”
